To my parents' horror, I went to a bar last night with Jess and Jenna. With the weather so nice, we could easily walk over to Sweeney's.

(Though it would have been nice to anticipate the rain on the way back.)

I hope I never understand the "no fun during the workweek" mentality. Last night I didn't lose so much as an hour of sleep, and I see no reason why drinking on a Tuesday rather than a Saturday would make me an alcoholic. I'm even OK with losing sleep every now and then because I was up late having fun the night before; I can take the hit, and (with some help from my frenemy caffeine) my productivity at work does not suffer.
