Jenna's b-day party yesterday. We were gonna cook out, but it rained, and then we were gonna go to a bar, but we couldn't decide on one... so we just had everyone over here for an old fashioned party.

The reviews notwithstanding, Super Mario Party 8 is a good time when you've got a room full of people: I was on the Evil Team (finally!) with Markie, Jess, and Graham. Despite our best efforts, we were defeated by the Good Team: Jenna, Barry, and Jess's friend Carrie.

(Patty was a neutral observer for reasons I cannot fathom.)

I'd like to claim credit for an independent coinage of the word Wii.W.I. Because I was amazed that Jenna could play so well, and drink so much.

The birthday girl left sometime before midnight, and the party didn't last much longer. Everyone made Miis and skedaddled.

I might attempt some garage sale-ing today, after yesterday's sudden downpour fiasco. That's the downside to doing this on your bike. Ah, but the many upsides! There's also something called Grand Old Day a few blocks away. This seems to be a Big Deal.
